Based on the inspiring true story

Inspired by actual events, writer/director Ron Krauss' GIMME SHELTER stars Vanessa Hudgens as Agnes 'Apple' Bailey, a pregnant 15-year-old who struggles to make a clean break from her troubled past by checking into a shelter for homeless teens. There, with a new support system to inspire and guide her, Apple begins the arduous process of building a new life for both herself and her unborn child.

Starring: Brendan Fraser, Rosario Dawson, James Earl Jones, and Ann Dowd co-star.

What a heartbreaking story.  My prayer is that more people will be touched with a heart big enough to help those teens who are runaways and/or teens that are pregnant and need a safe place to go to have their children.  A place where they can learn about Jesus, and learn perhaps a trade and practical financial advice too.  What a blessing to be a chaplain as well and the way Apple got her name, that was priceless! CFDB Review
